Dr. Jeremy Roderick, DO
PEAKMED HEALTHCARE PROVIDER
Jeremy Roderick, DO was born and raised in western Kansas. After completing his Family Medicine residency training in Wichita, KS, he went back to his hometown and practiced full-spectrum family medicine, which included surgical obstetrics, nursing home care, and county coroner duties on top of his normal clinic duties. He and his family eventually made the decision to move to Colorado where they spent most of their free time. Dr. Roderick enjoys the family medicine aspect of medicine because he can get to know his patients on a deeper level than many other specialties. Because of this closer relationship, he feels the patient has more trust in him as a provider and he can treat his patients in a more holistic manner. Dr. Roderick takes a collaborative approach with his patients. His goal is to educate the patient on various aspects of the problem and help the patient make an informed decision about a treatment plan. He also feels his experiences in a rural setting have helped him gain a very diverse medical knowledge base, yet he will not hesitate to acknowledge when a problem is beyond his scope of practice. When this situation occurs, he will do everything in his power to help the patient get the answers they need. In his spare time, Dr. Roderick enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife (Marissa) and two kids. He also enjoys running, playing piano, watching movies, trying new restaurants/foods, and being a “coffee connoisseur.”
