PEAKMED HEALTHCARE PROVIDER
As a primary care physician for over 20 years, I was thrilled to join PeakMed in 2023! After I closed my solo practice of 13 years in 2016, I discovered corporate and other large healthcare entities often do not provide comprehensive and compassionate care. But the direct primary care model of healthcare delivery that PeakMed provides, boldly addresses these issues, which is why I was so drawn to this company! Costs for all are significantly reduced, and patients receive more comprehensive and compassionate care. It’s a win-win-win for patients, healthcare team and employers. Dr. Rand feels blessed to be a part of PeakMed, where the company culture focuses on doing the right thing for the patients. Treating patients like I would want my loved ones to be treated, is critical for me to continue to work in healthcare, and is simply impossible to do in most of the traditional medical clinics of today. When not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, especially with my one-eyed rescue bulloxer dog, Bennie. Gardening is another activity I especially enjoy, but also like to cook and work to improve my golf game and skiing abilities. Over the years, I have found mindfulness meditation, engaging with community and helping others, has allowed me to effectively work through the many challenges life brings to us all.
